A traditional recipe:” Fegato alla Venexiana”

 

Serves: 4 persons

Time: 20 minutes

Difficulty:  easy

 

500 gr. veal livery steaks

3 onions

parsley

olive oil

2 lemons juice

salt and pepper

  1. peel the onions and cut them into thin slices
  2. cut the steaks into 3x3 cm pieces
  3. gently stuff the onions in oil. They must not turn red or brown
  4. when the onions are soft add the liver pieces and cook for  3-4 minutes only
  5. add the chopped parsley
  6. pour on a hot plate and sprinkle with lemon juice

Suggested wine: Red Tocai dei Colli Berici
